Code Project Runs Windows Vista(TM) Mobile PC Application CompetitionWrite an article and sample code or application for a chance to win an Ultra-Mobile PC
Today’s applications must work in an increasingly mobile environment while supporting ink, touch, and other new types of input. Build a great application that encompasses these needs, and then write an article about what you’ve done: you may win one of three cool Samsung Q1 Ultra-Mobile PCs. One winner each month for contest duration: 3/15/07 – 6/15/07.
Submit a great Windows Vista Mobile PC article and application to www.CodeProject.com in the Windows Vista/.NET 3.0 Mobile PC/Tablet PC section. Your application must: • Run on Windows Vista
• “Gracefully degrade” to run on Microsoft Windows XP (optional) • Incorporate ink and touch as input • Incorporate key mobile PC criteria such as battery state awareness, power conservation, network awareness, support for online/offline use (“sometimes connected”), location awareness, and security • Run maximized windows that are scaled based on available screen resolution (including the UMPC’s native resolution of 800 x 480) Entry requirements and eligibility can be found here.
