• Run on Windows Vista • “Gracefully degrade” to run on Microsoft Windows XP (optional) • Incorporate ink and touch as input • Incorporate key mobile PC criteria such as battery state awareness, power conservation, network awareness, support for online/offline use (“sometimes connected”), location awareness, and security • Run maximized windows that are scaled based on available screen resolution (including the UMPC’s native resolution of 800 x 480)
